In order to apostille your child’s birth certificate, you will need to mail in the original or a certified copy issued from the County Clerk’s office. In some states, a birth certificate will be issued by the State Registrar (Example: Florida birth certificate).
Please note that a birth certificate must be certified from the state of issue. For example, a California birth certificate can only be apostilled in California.
