Do you need to legalize your documents for Kuwait?
Certifying and legalizing documents for Kuwait is a three step process. Your documents will require State certification, US Department of State certification, and Kuwait Embassy or Consulate legalization. For example, if your birth certificate originates from the State of Florida, your document will require Florida Secretary of State certification, Washington DC US Department of State certification, and Kuwait Embassy legalization.
In the United States, the Kuwait Embassy is located in Washington DC and the Consulate is Located in Los Angeles. Currently, the cost to legalize a document through the Embassy or Consulate is $25. Please note that this amount may change at any time.
