Do you need to apostille a Medical Letter?

Are you planning to travel and have been told to obtain an apostille on a medical letter?   Have you recently taken a Covid test and need to show a negative test result?  Are you planning on adopting or getting married in another country?  Are you planning to start a new job as a teacher or health care provider? In order to apostille a letter from the Doctor’s office, the Doctor’s signature will need to be signed and notarized.  If there is no notary on staff, you can hire a traveling notary to meet with the Doctor.

We can apostille a Doctor’s letter signed and notarized in all 50 States and the District of Columbia.  In order to apostille this document, you will need to mail in the original signed and notarized letter with our order forms for processing.

For example, if your letter was signed and notarized in California, you will need to mail in the original with our California apostille order forms for processing.  Please note that we do not process documents digitally notarized.

Obtaining an apostille can be complicated. Don’t leave this process to untrained employees or non-professionals who do not fully understand the apostille process and the unique requirements of certain countries.
